The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) are committed to providing outstanding education and training for students in the study of health, sport, and disability. The new Health Sciences Facility project was born from a decision to repurpose reclaimed land from football practice fields and serves as a pre-building to the Universities’ FIMS Center.
Abbott was engaged for the Program Management of this beautiful ground-up medical training nursing facility – including six 50 seat classrooms, auditoriums, wet and dry laboratories, faculty offices, a simulated hospital ward, and a Virtual Reality Lab featuring 3-D images of the human body. Upon the successful completion of the new Facility, FHS continues to unleash groundbreaking innovations and opportunities for education and research in health.
