Results-driven Maintenance Wind Technician with extensive experience in the monitoring and high-level troubleshooting of utility-scale wind assets. Proven track record in mechanical supervision, specialized in Vestas turbine technology. Expert in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of turbine operations, from initial supplier acceptance and commissioning to complex unscheduled repairs and Balance of Plant (BoP) oversight. 

Core Competencies 

Technical Leadership: Experienced in supervising small, high-output teams and managing alternating 10-hour shift schedules to ensure maximum site uptime. 
Platform Expertise: Deep mechanical and electrical knowledge of Vestas wind turbines, including hydraulic pitch systems and drivetrain alignment. 
Commissioning & Acceptance: Skilled in performing rigorous "Quality & Acceptance" inspections from OEMs and third-party suppliers to ensure asset integrity. 
Advanced Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults under tight operational deadlines. 
Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to GWO standards, LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out) procedures, and high-altitude rescue protocols. 

Key Responsibilities 

Asset Management: Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance programs for wind turbine generators and associated substation infrastructure. 
Performance Monitoring: Utilize SCADA and remote monitoring tools to proactively identify equipment degradation and prevent catastrophic failures. 
Rapid Response: Lead field teams in responding to emergency breakdowns, providing technical direction for rapid fault isolation and resolution. 
Balance of Plant (BoP): Manage the health of the entire wind farm ecosystem, including collector lines, road maintenance, and warehouse logistics. 
Documentation: Maintain precise maintenance logs and reporting for all site activities, ensuring warranty compliance and historical data accuracy.
